Annual Cleanup

Garage & Basement Cleaning | Remodeling Projects

When you’re ready to tackle your special cleaning project around the house, basement, garage, or yard, Chef Container is ready to lend you a hand.

First, you may want to consider which of those items are recyclable for reuse. While cleaning out these areas is a time-consuming task, simply discarding your waste is not the best option for the environment. There are many sources to consider for items such as large furniture and other lightly used items that could be sold or donated.

Many of the items typically thrown away in these projects can instead be recycled:

  • Paper, Newspapers, Magazines & Cardboard
  • Metal Items
  • Plastics
  • Wood Items
  • E-Devices (Televisions, Computers, Cell Phones, VCR Players, etc.)

Note: E-devices are hazardous waste items that are illegal to dump into your trash or local landfill in many states. Do not place televisions, computers, are other e-devices into the trash containers.

How do I get these things out of my home and to your location?

  1. Use your “Project Pride” or other municipal coupon, if available, for one or more FREE visits to dispose of your waste at our public drop-off center.
  2. Load your truck, car, van and/or trailer and bring it to our local transfer station for less than the cost of renting a dumpster. (Locally at Holland Location)
  3. Call and schedule a extra pickup for large items or special extras. (616-494-0561)
  4. Order a special dumpster for short term use at your home. We have several sizes available to tackle any project. Call us for more information and container availability and sizes.

Once all the work is completed you can rest assured knowing that employees of Westshore Recycling and Transfer are sorting your waste to remove and reuse products such as wood, metal, paper, plastic and other recyclables.
